Heirs’ Property Practicum: Client-Ready in One Session
This 90-minute live session is a practical, application-focused training that moves beyond definitions and focuses on real-world heirs’ property scenarios. Rather than dwelling on definitions or legal theory, it puts housing counselors directly into four real client scenarios: a repair request that surfaces a title problem, a family that’s scattered or resistant to the conversation, a forced-sale threat, and an underused family asset. For each, counselors learn the exact conversation to have, the documents to assemble before an attorney meeting, and — critically — where counseling ends and legal practice begins. Built for HUD-certified and non-certified housing counselors who want to move from recognizing heirs’ property to actually helping resolve it, without ever practicing law without a license.
